For10Cents Review – Is For10Cents.com a Scam?  

The For10cents review shows that this is an auction site. Not surprisingly it is a penny auction website. The moniker does a perfect job of giving you a hint at what might be happening on this website. While there are some deals to be had on this site, it is not a popular as Auctionresource.org.

The bids at for10cents.com can cost you as little as ten cents but it is a bit misleading because the only way you are going to get the ten cent deal is if you buy a lot of bids. If you want the ten cent deal than you have to purchase oh around ten thousand bids at a cost of one thousand dollars.  

This penny auction site is really nothing to write home to mom about. It carries the typical penny auction fare, gift cards and sprinkled with some electronics.  

Couple of Things I Dislike  

Here are my pet peeves about this site. They do not post contact information that is a big no-no in my book. The only contact option you have is to fill out a web form and hope they call or write back. I like a phone number that I can call so that I can aggravate someone until I get the service I want to get.  

I also don’t like the fact that the help page is not very helpful. I like my information spoon fed to me and up front!  

Is it A Scam  

People that peruse the penny auction websites area always concerned if the sites are scams. Personally I think that all penny auction sites can be tricky if you don’t know what you’re doing. First off you have to pay for something before you ever get started, secondly you are misled on what a winning item is actually won for. To me this is a scam.  

If you are wondering if this site simply rips people off and does not deliver well than consider the following comments I located on line and decide for yourself:

I8 BELIEVE THEY USE INSIDERS TO BID ON ITEMS WITH AUTO BIDS SO WHEN YOUR BIDS OR AUTO BIDS RUN OUT YOU WILL KEEP PURCHASING MORE BIDS!! SAME USERS WIN "BIG TICKET" ITEMS..."WANIAC" TMODELTOMMY" AND "DOOBIEGREEN".i SPENTS OVER $500 AND WAS ON AUCTION SITE FOR 3 DAYS STRAIGHT FOR 10HRS EACH DAY ( EVERY MINUTE AUCTION SITE WAS OPEN)BID ON ONE ITEM AND LOST.CHECKED WITH OTHER PEOPLE ON YAHOO AND OTHER SITES AND SAME THING HAPPENED WITH THEM!!! I could not find any positive reviews.

Overall, the For10cents review shows that this is a viable site and is not a scam, however there seems to be better alternatives available.
