The Slapsale review shows
that this is a website with an interesting name. The name is derived from the Chineese characters that convey
the word auction as explained on the website. The two characters in Chinese that are used to convey the word
auction are slap and sale hence the name of the website. Seems like a viable site but not as good as Auction Resource.

The companies that run this website
are based in Texas and are legitimate companies. The items that are auctioned off largely come from the
bankruptcy court and businesses. Most of the items are in very good condition and you can view them, if you are
in Texas. Almost all the items come from the Texas area. This makes for some unusual items up for
grabs.
The Items
When I visited there was a “blood
testing machine” that was huge and obviously meant for hospitals. There were vans and cars from municipal
organizations that no longer needed them. You can find a lot of
goods that can be used in the home but may not be traditionally found in the home. Like restaurant equipment,
school equipment and business equipment.
The Slapsale reviews show that on
this website you will find restaurant supplies, industrial supplies, hospital equipment and other large goods.
This is not the place to go if you are looking for a Christmas present for someone.
The Audience
This website is primarily geared at
businesses although consumers are welcome to bid on items that they are interested in. It seems as if the prices
are pretty reasonable if you are in the market for a lot of television sets from the University of Texas that
you would have to pick up!
Most of the auctions clearly state
that shipping is typically not an option, so if you do not live in the Texas area unless you really really want
something being sold you might have a bit of a hard time trying to get things together.
Reviews
Because of the nature of the
website and who they do business with there were no unsolicited reviews available.
It is free to register, consumers
can not sell anything. You can browse for free and take a look around. You never know you may find something
that catches your interest. The website is easy to navigate.
The contact information is clearly
available and this seems to be a very professional website. It is worth a look especially if you have a small
business that you need equipment for.

Overall, the Slapsale.com review
shows that this is a viable site and is not a scam, however not as good as Auction Resource.
